Marca 2018

Bologna - January 17th and 18th - Pavilon C30 D29

In a market that shows a decline of 3.8%, we at Molino Rossetto also confirm a turnover of 18 million euros at the end of 2017, represented for 31% by private labels, and a market share of 3, 8% in the flour industry. The share in the yeast sector increased to 3.9%.
Also this year we renew our participation in Marca, the Bologna show dedicated to the world of the distributor brand, now in its 14th edition and scheduled for Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th January at BolognaFiere.

A strategic appointment for a company that develops in the private label 31% of the turnover, attested at the end of December to 18 million euros, in line with the previous year, but with a slight increase of the sold pieces, which go from 25 million in 2016 to over 26 million in 2017. An even more satisfying result considering the trend of products linked to home cooking which, in contrast to the economic recovery and greater consumer confidence, shows a general decline.

In particular, in the flour market (soft wheat + durum wheat + turkish + special flours), which is worth 217 million euros and marks a -3.8%, we maintain a 3.8% share, while in the yeast market, to -3.5%, the company grows by 1.6% in value, gaining a further 0.2% of market share, which sees it again in second place with 3.9% *.

Merit of a hard core of consumers now loyal to the brand, the ability to interpret and respond immediately to their needs, but also the widespread presence in the sales points of modern distribution, from North to South, including islands, and the dynamism shown in the channel and -commerce.

"Ours is a sector characterized by a trend that tends to be opposed to that of the general market, where the glimmers of exit from the long economic crisis have led the consumer to resume consumption outside the home to the detriment of domestic consumption and to set aside the purchase of products basic as the flour - said Chiara Rossetto, to the company - despite this, we still managed to confirm the positive results of 2016 and to increase by one percentage point the private label turnover, a segment that recorded a decline of 8% " .

Not surprisingly, Molino Rossetto was among the 50 Italian companies active in the food, fashion and supplies sectors recently awarded for the "Save The Brand 2017" event organized by legalcommunity.it. A recognition obtained as an emerging Italian company in strong development, in particular for highly sustainable management models and attention to food health.
