Easter dove cakes
1 pack of mix for dove cakes Molino Rossetto (inside you find: the mixture, 1 pack of dry yeast, 3 molds, sugar grain)
2 medium eggs (about 100g)
30 ml of water
60 g of soft butter
grated orange peel
for the frosting
70 g of powdered sugar
1 egg white
Dissolve yeast with water in a bowl; pour mix for dove cakes Molino Rossetto and start to knead. Pour shaken eggs gradually and add butter in pieces and grated orange peel. Knead the compound with a wooden spoon until you obtain a homogenous consistency, so let it rise for about 1 hour and a half in a lukewarm place covered by a wet towel. Divide the dough in tre equal parts, pour in the molds and let it rest for 30 minutes more. Prepare the frosting and pour egg white gradually on powdered sugar. Preheat the oven at 210°C, drizzle dove cakes, add sugar grains (almonds if you want) and cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
