500 g of flour for cakes Molino Rossetto
30 g of butter
50 g of sugar
3 eggs (50-60 g)
Grated lemon peel
A pince of salt
2 cl of white schnapps
Frying oil
Powdered sugar
White sugar

Pour the flour on a pan and create a whole on the centre. Pour sugar, soft butter, eggs, grated lemon peel and salt. Knead with your fingers and mix the ingredients and add some liquor. Knead to obtain a smooth, elastic and homogenous compound. You can use a kitchen robot. Let it rest for 1 hour at least so that the dough becomes softer and it is easier to roll it down. Knead the shortcrust and make some rectangles (of 5x10 cm) with a serrated wheel, make a cut on the centre in order to improve the cooking and increase the flavour. Prepare some oil in the fryer at 180°. Put some stripes and whent they start to become golden drain them on some paper towel. Pour some powdered sugar when they are lukewarm.
